Welcome to UniversityHolidays.co.uk, an independent information website dedicated to helping students, parents, university staff, researchers, and the general public find university term dates, holidays, academic calendars, reading weeks, examination periods, and other important academic dates across the UK.
My name is Ava Pope, and I am the author and editor of UniversityHolidays.co.uk.
I created this website with a simple goal: to make university academic dates easier to find, understand, and compare.
Universities across the UK do not all follow the same academic calendar. Each institution may have different term dates, semester dates, examination periods, reading weeks, and holiday periods.
Finding the right information can therefore sometimes require visiting several different university websites.
UniversityHolidays.co.uk aims to provide a convenient starting point for finding this information.
